You can use the Text Editor in many modules in the system. You can use the Text Editor when creating a question in the question pool, sharing on the forum page, and many other places.
Using Text Editor features, you can edit your texts, use math functions, add images, embed videos, and add links.
There are many places in the system where you can use mathematical symbols. This feature allows you to insert symbols that do not appear on your keyboard.
You can use math symbols when creating questions in the question pool. Click the small fx button located between the text tools to display the symbols.
Example: Plain text, which is being created inside a course using the Add Resource button.

Click the calculator icon to see the symbol list. Click the desired symbols to form a mathematical expression. When you're done, click Save.
The expression will be displayed.
