A Skill-Based Approach to Modern Learning
Today’s digital learning platforms do more than just deliver content; they offer integrated solutions that assess and develop individuals’ skills and competencies. The Skills Module developed by Vedubox is a key component of this transformation, enabling users to specialize in specific areas. In this article, we will explore how the module works and the advantages it offers to both organizations and individual learners.
Adding Skills and Matching Them with Content
Administrators can define new skills within the system. For example, a skill such as “Fundamentals of Digital Marketing” can be created. This skill can then be linked to specific learning content, requiring users to complete the related content to earn the skill. Each content item can be associated with one or more skills.
After logging into the system as an administrator, select the Skills Module from the main menu and use the designated area to add new skills.
To utilize the added skills, you can either add new content from the Trainings menu or update your existing content. On the relevant content page, select the skills you want to associate from the Skills menu and include them in your content. Don’t forget to click the "Save" button to apply your changes.
When users log into the system, they can mark the skills they wish to acquire through a pop-up window and save their preferences.
Users can manage their skills through the widgets on the homepage.
They can make changes again and save them.
They can view and complete the content associated with each skill to acquire that skill.
